Oh,WOW, I finally brought all your photobucket pix up and really enjoyed them. By the way I think that was the Arch of Constantine, but I'm not sure,does that ring a bell? Was it labeled in any way? The picture of streets in Rome looked like streets in any old city. I guess I'm going to have to get out an encyclopedia to find out about the dammed river-did it have a name, I'm not really familiar with the geography of Rome outside of knowing it was built on seven hills. The buildings look old and gorgeous.I'm sorry that the weather was so atrocious and hot, I'm certain that took some of the fun out of touring. By the way, did you get any pictures of the fountains and the piazzas around them?Put on more pictures-- they are great!!
